Description:
The Chinchpada Christian Hospital aims to build a modern ICU with adequate space and amenities for smooth work flow and patient care. The present ICU is severely cramped and not ideal for work and infection control. The new ICU cum ward will have 12 critical care beds and 8 general beds. Based in a space that is 4000 sq feet, it would meet the requirements of a modern ICU and give good space for people to work in. An air handling unit would provide the infection control 24/7.
The total cost of the building would be Rs 2.6 Crore which is roughly $261,000 CAD. The project has 3 parts: $161,000 for the building, $50,000 for the air handling unit, and $50,000 for the solar panel for the running of the place. Approximately $50,000 has been raised so far and we are looking at raising another $100,000 before we start building.
