IN THE FIRST TEN DAYS OF MAY, India’s new COVID-19 cases held at close to 400,000 per day (up from 12,000 in early March). They have crossed the 23 million mark of COVID-19 cases. About 246,000 Indians have died.
We are incredibly grateful for your concern, care, and support during this pandemic. We were very much encouraged seeing how you all stand with us during difficult times. The Herbertpur Christian Hospital was designated as a COVID hospital by the state government of Uttarakhand and began functioning as a COVID hospital starting in April.
Emmanuel Hospital Association (EHA), a not-for-profit association of hospitals, is committed towards the health care and uplifting of the poor. EHA has servced in rural India for over 50 years. With a network of 20 hospitals located in the most challenging parts of our country, EHA with its strong team of 200 + experienced doctors and more than 2500 paramedical staff serves the neediest population of about 800,000 in the areas of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, General and Family medicine, Pediatrics, General and Pediatric Surgery, Orthopaedics, Urology, Dentistry, and diagnostic services including clinical laboratories, radiology, Ultrasonography, and gastroscopy.
In times like these, we are reminded of exactly who our God is. Nothing will ever stand in the way of God and His love. This music video was put together to support the work of a faithful group of people working in rural hospitals across India.
